Curriculum
- This degree’s curriculum follows a research backed & career-first philosophy that enables you to develop general business understanding & specialize in domains of your interest.
- You will experience both theoretical knowledge & practical applications. Programme concepts are explained through a combination of readings, real world case studies, classroom interactions, projects and simulations.
- The degree is divided into 8 terms. The 1st four terms will focus on building a solid foundation through core courses and projects and the next four terms will allow you to choose elective courses & undertake projects.
Earn a double specialization
IIT Roorkee’s EMBA allows you to customize your degree as per your career goals. Earn upto a double specialization in domains across marketing, finance, human resources, operations and information technology. There are 55 different electives available across the above 5 domains For you to earn a specialization in the degree you will need to select a minimum of 15 electives out of which electives worth of 12 credits should be in a distinct area (i.e. marketing, finance, HR etc).

Each core/elective course & project across eight terms has credits mapped to it For you to earn this degree you will have to complete a MINIMUM of 99 credits. Following is the split of 99 credits required across core/elective courses & projects:

Business simulation in capstone
The best way to learn business is to run a business. The capstone business simulation project is designed to provide students with a hands-on learning experience in strategic management and business decision-making.
