The DAE program offers a fast app performance-based pathway for all learners – with or without conventional technical experience.Â
Simply provide your basic contact information and tell us about your bachelor's degree of study and/or your work experience.Â
If you have the necessary tech background, you’ll immediately take two courses from the DAE program.Â
If you don’t have a technical background, we'll recommend content on Coursera for you to complete and prepare yourself before taking the DAE performance-based admission courses.Â
For either route, you’ll need to score a B or better on the two courses from the DAE program (and provide proof of your bachelor’s degree), then you'll join the full master's degree program your next semester—with two courses already completed.
Delve into data storytelling, database design, data mining, statistical methods and cutting-edge data sciences. Enhance your analytical prowess from anywhere, at your pace, with or without prior data experience. Â
With regular updates from expert faculty to keep course content aligned with current data analytics practices, this curriculum provides the perfect preparation for data professionals in any industry.

The Northeastern University Fast App is a performance-based admissions process which allows you to earn graduate admission by completing real coursework. No need to gather application materials. No need to wait for an admissions decision. Let your performance in your coursework serve as your application into your graduate program.
After submitting the fast app, eligible learners will get access to two performance-based admissions courses (pathway courses) for the next start date (Spring, Summer, Fall). Get a B or better in both pathway courses and submit the official transcript of your admissible degree by the time you complete the courses and you'll continue into the full degree program the next term.
Yes. The courses from the Fast App pathway are from the DAE program and will be applied to the full degree program once completed with a B or better.
